The Tumor’s micro-environment is key
Diseases’ micro-environments have recently been heralded as key in the struggle to restore homeostasis and health. See this TED talk for the evidence.
In this perspective, Antoine Béchamps, Henri Laborit, Claude Bernard, among others, have all emphasized the importance of the “bio-terrain” or what has been called the “milieu”. This “micro-environment” can not be seperable from the “germ” or disease agent, be it a microbe, a virus or a malignant cancer.
Researcher Mina Bissell pursued this innovative idea, that a cancer cell doesn’t automatically become a tumor, but rather, depends on surrounding cells (its microenvironment) for its development into a full blown metastatic disease. In this video, she shares the two key experiments that proves that the prevailing wisdom about cancer growth was wrong. Ch. J.
